When you sign up for Bill Wise, we collect basic account information such as your name, email address, and business details (company name, GSTIN, address) that you provide directly. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to create and identify your account.
The billing data you enter - customers, invoices, quotations, products, and payment records - is stored so the software can function, and is only accessible to your own login and any company logins you explicitly link.
We use your information to operate your account, generate invoices and reports, process plan payments via Razorpay, respond to support requests, and send essential account or billing notifications. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Plan payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank credentials on our servers - Razorpay handles that directly and securely.
We don't share your business or customer data with anyone outside of what's needed to run the service (e.g. our hosting provider and payment processor), and never for advertising purposes.
We retain your account and billing data for as long as your account is active, so your invoice history remains available to you. You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
You can update your business details at any time from Settings, or contact us to correct, export, or delete your data.
